Design Inspiration
We wanted to create a unique set of wooden coaster. One that can be personalised for each member of the family or group, but can be joined together to make a wonderful centrepiece. A jigsaw design works well to ensure it is secure when fitted together. Symbolically it works too, as each individual element is part of a larger entity. Here we designed something for a group of three people.
Material
The coasters are made of quality 5mm thick quality oak laminate wood that offer strength and durability for their function, yet they are very aesthetically pleasing. The wood has been finished with a light wax coating which will help against any spillage and condensation marks, but we advise regular cleaning.
